Some sessions just feel extra special, and this one will always stay close to my heart.

I had the honor of photographing an engagement session at the Temple of Music in Roger Williams Park, and not only was the location stunning, but the couple made it even more meaningful.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect late summer evening. The golden light filtered through the trees, casting the most romantic glow over the park, and the soft breeze made everything feel light and relaxed.

The Temple of Music is such a timeless backdrop. Its architecture has a classic, almost regal charm, and it creates a setting that feels both grand and intimate. With the water nearby, the sprawling green lawns, it was the perfect place to capture this exciting chapter in their lives.

But what truly made this session so special for me was the couple themselves. These two are longtime family friends, which made the experience so personal and emotional. Getting to witness their love story from the very beginning to now, as they prepare to start this new chapter, feels like such an incredible full-circle moment. Photographing their engagement was more than just a session; it was a celebration of love, friendship, and family all rolled into one.

I am beyond excited for their wedding next year. Knowing the love they share and our connection, I know their day will be absolutely beautiful, and I feel so grateful to capture it all for them.
