Emma & Ben’s Intimate September Wedding in Rhode Island

There’s something uniquely magical about an intimate wedding—when every moment feels intentional, every detail is personal, and every person present is someone who truly matters. Emma and Ben’s September wedding in Rhode Island was exactly that: heartfelt, cozy, beautifully understated, and overflowing with joy.

Getting Ready in Downtown Providence

The day began in one of the most stunning Airbnbs tucked right into downtown Providence. Split between two levels, the space created the perfect setting for Emma and Ben to get ready separately, yet still feel connected.

Ben and his groomsmen claimed the lower level—a room wrapped in olive-green walls, decorated with unique art pieces that made every corner feel like an editorial backdrop. A rich brown leather couch sat in the center of the space, grounding the room with warm, earthy tones. It was masculine, stylish, and effortlessly cool… the perfect vibe for Ben.

Upstairs, Emma and her bridesmaids got ready in a completely different ambiance. Their space had moody grey walls, soft light, and a beautiful fireplace that made the whole room feel like a cozy boutique hotel. Thoughtful décor, unique textures, and artistic details made the Airbnb feel more like a curated studio than a rental—a dream spot for those timeless getting-ready photos.

A First Look in a Secret Garden

Just steps from their Airbnb was a small garden—quiet, green, and tucked away from the busy streets of the city. It was here that Emma and Ben chose to have their first look.

As soon as they saw each other, the world seemed to momentarily pause. The privacy of the garden gave them space to breathe each other in, laugh, cry, and settle into the beautiful reality that their wedding day had finally arrived.

Vintage Car Magic & A Downtown Courthouse Ceremony

After soaking in their first moments together, they took photos with the most charming vintage yellow convertible—top down, full of character, and perfectly fitting the timeless yet playful feel of their day.

That same car carried them to their ceremony at the Providence courthouse. The ceremony was deeply intimate, with only their closest family present. It was simple, elegant, and emotional—the kind of ceremony where every tear and smile feels amplified because of how intentional it all is.

Celebrating at Bacaro Restaurant

With the formal “I do’s” complete, it was time to celebrate. Emma and Ben hosted their reception at Bacaro Restaurant, one of Providence’s gems along the river.

The room was set with glowing candlelight, soft greenery, and white florals that created an atmosphere both romantic and refined. Surrounded by all their friends and family, the evening turned into a warm celebration filled with laughter, toasts, and incredible food.

As the night carried on, the music picked up, the dance floor filled, and the celebration transformed into one of pure joy. Emma and Ben danced the night away—exactly how a perfect wedding day should end.
