Maggie & Mitchell | A Winter Wedding Day in Rhode Island
Some love stories feel quiet and intentional from the very beginning—and Maggie and Mitchell’s was exactly that.
We first photographed and filmed Maggie and Mitchell during their engagement session at Artist Bluff in New Hampshire, and that day set the tone for everything that followed. We hiked together, laughing our way up the trail, surrounded by towering trees and crisp mountain air. When we reached the top, the view opened up into one of those moments that makes you pause—layers of mountains stretching endlessly, the kind of beauty that feels earned after the climb. Maggie and Mitchell were completely at ease together, taking it all in side by side. It felt less like a photoshoot and more like witnessing a chapter of their story unfold.
Fast forward to January in Rhode Island, and that same sense of intention carried seamlessly into their wedding day.
Maggie and Mitchell chose to keep their day deeply personal, spending the morning getting ready with only their closest family members. No large bridal party—just the people who know them best, filling the rooms with calm excitement and meaningful moments. It created space for quiet conversations, happy tears, and the kind of presence that’s easy to lose on a busy wedding day.
Maggie’s vision came to life through the thoughtful details she curated so beautifully. Soft white florals, elegant swan accents, and a white heart-shaped cake that felt both timeless and playful all reflected her romantic style. Every element felt intentional without being overdone—classic, refined, and full of heart.
Their ceremony took place at Immaculate Conception Church, a stunning and sacred space that perfectly framed the significance of their vows. As Maggie walked down the aisle, the moment felt reverent and emotional, filled with love, faith, and the quiet anticipation of forever. Mitchell’s expression said everything—steady, emotional, and completely present.
After the ceremony, we headed to one of Providence’s most iconic backdrops for bride and groom portraits: the Rhode Island State House. Against the grand architecture and winter light, Maggie and Mitchell looked effortlessly elegant.
The celebration continued at Waterman Grille in Providence, where the reception unfolded in a space overlooking the water, glowing with soft light and winter romance. Surrounded by family and friends, the evening felt intimate and joyful, filled with heartfelt toasts, laughter, and moments that lingered long after they happened.
From hiking Artist Bluff to celebrating in the heart of Providence, Maggie and Mitchell’s journey together has been marked by intention, beauty, and a deep connection to one another. Their wedding day was a reflection of who they are—graceful, grounded, and deeply in love—and it was an honor to document every part of it.
A perfect beginning to forever. 🤍
