Posing
I know it can be nerve-wracking getting your photo taken especially for the first time. As a photographer, my approach to posing couples prioritizes making you feel at ease and natural. I will encourage you to interact in a way that feels genuine as if you are simply enjoying a date with paparazzi discreetly capturing candid moments. By providing guidance and creating a relaxed atmosphere, you can ensure that the photos capture authentic emotions and connections between the two of you as a couple. How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you have a session in mind, contact me. The sooner the better!
How will I receive my photos? Do I receive a print release?
photos will be delivered in high-resolution jpegs via digital gallery.
I strongly suggest you download your images immediately after receiving them.
Yes, print release form will be emailed to you.
Do you travel outside of RI Or U.S?
Yes!
I am based in Rhode Island but available world wide for sessions, weddings, and elopements.
When do I expect to receive my photos?
All sessions will be delivered within 2 weeks.
Weddings will be delivered within 60 days.
What if we need to reschedule our shoot due to weather?
We can reschedule if weather is really awful. Some of the best sessions are done on overcast days, snow, sprinkle of rain, and extremely windy days! Just embrace the weather! It makes for perfect photographs.
The only times I will reschedule shoots is if my camera will be ruined by the weather. This decision can be made together.
Do I need to complete a deposit to book?
Yes, a 50% non-refundable retainer is due upon booking & a contract must be signed in order to secure the date and time you are looking to book. The non-refundable retainer is towards the total amount.
For weddings, a 30% non-refundable retainer is due upon booking your date & the contract must be signed as well.
How many images included?
For weddings, 200+ images on the online gallery.
For portraits 20+ images on the online gallery.
Although I have an estimation for both, I do not like to put a number on how many I deliver to you.
If images are out of focus, eyes are closed, or image cannot be fixed those will be the only ones not added to the gallery.
I do not believe on not giving you all the great images captured!
What is your editing style?
I like to call my editing styling "an old love movie" My editing has a vintage touch to it and moody at the same time with a splash of editorial and film.
Do you give RAWS?
NOPE.
Editing is half of the process + magic that goes into an image.
My job is not to just take the picture, a lot goes into it.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
If you've already put a deposit down on a date and then have to move/cancel it, the deposit is non-refundable and a new deposit will have to be made of $50.00 in order to hold your new date. I do this because I already have saved your date from any other potential clients and if we move your date I essentially lose money, I'm counting on that final payment to pay my bills since I only take a limited amount of jobs per month, I depend on that money.
Can you photoshop us? Make us look skinny?
I very very rarely use photoshop in my business. I believe in expressing + embracing your true beauty. I will only touch on removing distractions from the background. I will also touch on skin blemishes like pimples. If there is something specific you would like removed please ask first!
What if we need to change our wedding date?
If you need to change your wedding date or cancel your wedding for any reason, your deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
If you would like to change your date you will need to complete another 30% deposit to secure a new date with me.
